Back to School

I just made some serious updates to my back to school packets and I am SO excited about them! If you’ve purchased my back to school packets for kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, please be sure to go back and re-download them for FREE to see all of the new changes.

The beginning of the year is SO exciting, but also extremely stressful and nerve-wracking. One of my many goals this summer was to try to alleviate some of that first week back stress by getting organized and prepped NOW. I always seem to forget how needy and dependent my firsties are in the very beginning. I’m usually asleep by 6:30 on the couch that first week. It isn’t a pretty sight!

These back to school packets (kindergarten, first grade, second, and third grade) are chocked-full of fun and engaging activities to keep everyone alive and well the first week back.

Your students will LOVE learning the rules of school with the help of The Back to School Experts (Respectful Rachel, Responsible Ryan, Ready to Learn Robert, and Really Safe Rita). Once your students become knowledgeable about the school rules, they will become the newest members of a special club. My kids were talking about being a part of The First Grade Expert Club ALL YEAR LONG!

I already printed out each page of the updated packet so now all I have to do is make copies for my kiddos for the first week back. I placed all of the materials inside this ADORABLE storage box I found at Target. The little box had my name written all over it. Bless you, Target!

I gave each day of the week a folder and placed all of materials I’ll need that day inside! I even placed the books I’ll read each day and the crafts I’ll be modeling inside too.

  18. Looks like you are a member and have a broad vision. I appreciate this article. a failure is common, but weep not the way to restore the default. to do is to keep trying until successful. just as health is a matter that should be prioritized especially women health crystal x

  20. I do this too!I came across this idea and "biggered" it. I made a whole month file set this year. I cleared out a filing cabinet drawer, made a set of numbered files, one for every day of the month (1-31) and now I can put everything I need in them. It is so much nicer than having piles on my desk.
I am working on getting everything together for the first week of school. Love your packet, that one is going into the cart! Blessings to you on your first days of school!!
