I’m linking up with Cara Carroll for a little Throwback Thursday fun. I wrote it in August of last year, but these little binder covers might come in handy for some of you now!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, I don’t know if you all saw the calendar today, but I certainly did. August 1st. It’s like my body knew that yesterday was summer vacation and today was…NOT! I woke up feeling anxious, realizing I have a bazillion things to do before the beginning of the school year. I know you all are right there with me.
So, what does an anxious teacher/procrastinator/monogram/chevron lover do in times like these? Make more binder covers, of course. Why? Oh, you know, because a pretty binder will solve all the world’s problems this upcoming school year. Ha. I wish.
But, they are so pretty. I have no idea what I’m going to do with these. Seriously, who needs 7 different shades of monogrammed binder covers? Anyone? Maybe I just like seeing my initials in fancy letters.
Well, if you are a procrastinator like me, or if you want/need these, please feel free to grab them below. All you’ll need to do is download the font below, open the PowerPoint, and get busy!
Here is a quick step-by-step tutorial:
- Download Monogram KK font (free for personal use)
-Open up my editable PowerPoint file
-Create a text box over top of the circle, and write the first and middle initial of your name using the Monogram KK font. Leave a space in between the two letters. You will want these two letters to be the font size 115. (See below)
-Create another text box over top of the the two letters above. Center the text box, and then write your last initial. You want this font size to be larger (I recommend 239 font size).
Now it will look like this…your new look is complete!
