Hello, friends! Is anyone else out there EXTRA tired today? Yikes. My plan was to wake up early this morning and dash off to school, but I just couldn’t help but press that little “Snooze” button one too many times. That darn thing gets me every time! I woke up with enough time to get ready and still get to school early if I chose to skip one very important morning step --- COFFEE! Boy, did I ever pay for that mistake! There were countless moments throughout the day where I felt very angry with myself.
Highlight Moment of the Day: A large (and rather pointy) stick being chucked at 50mph across the playground straight for my head. It was THISCLOSE from hitting me. You can bet we will be reviewing playground safety tomorrow.
Skip coffee? Never. Happening. Again. To be honest with you all, I caved and bought a coffee at 5:30PM. Eek! I just couldn’t help myself.
I created these bookmarks for my kids to use on Read Across America Day. I think I may write a little personalized message on the back for each student, and then get them laminated. Feel free to download your own copy here:
Enjoy your night, everyone! :)
Thanks for the bookmark. It's perfect.
