Have you ever tried to send a message to someone on Facebook that you aren’t “Friends” with? Last week, I tried sending a message to another blogger friend, and I got this message:
Say what?!?!
You either have to pay a dollar to have your message sent directly to the person’s Inbox or send the message to the person’s Other folder.
What’s even trickier is…the person who you are sending the message to may not even know that there is something called an “Other” folder. I would have NEVER known had I not sent that message.
So, after I sent the message, I decided to check my own “Other” message folder and I found all kinds of messages that dated all the way back to 2009. Go check your “Other” folder and see what’s waiting for you!
Here are the steps to checking your “Other” folder:
Most of these messages are invitations to things (from 2009…OOPS!), but some of the messages I received were from people I know. If you see a message from someone you know, you can move the message to your Inbox.

Yes! I noticed this a little bit ago. I had a message in their from my husband's cousin saying they were coming in town. I was mad at the time because I thought they didn't tell me! Stupid other messages!

I stumbled upon mine a week ago and was SHOCKED at the messages there....so many :( Some were from "texts", too! I think if you have an iPhone, you have double addresses in there. So, when someone goes to text you, they might "text" it to Facebook instead of your phone. My friends must have thought I was ignoring them :(
