I came across this image that a friend posted on Instagram and it couldn’t be more fitting for how I’ve been feeling lately. Winter isn’t so bad in the beginning. Christmas time with family warms my heart. The first snow is magical. Cozying up in blankets and wearing oversized sweaters and snuggly slippers is divine. But lately I’ve found myself wishing for warm breezes, longer days, and some Vitamin D!
Today it’s around 65 degrees. I spent my early morning sipping coffee outside while envisioning my dream garden, and I just got back from a long walk with my sweet pup. I hope today is a sign of what’s to come. I’m so thankful for the changes in the seasons!
Speaking of changes in the weather, I wanted to share a weather resource I just added to my shop. I’ll be back tomorrow to share some actual pictures of the unit, but I wanted to do a little initial preview of the unit today.
The weather topics in this packet are:
- What Is Weather?
- Temperature
- Wind
- Precipitation
- Weather Near and Far
- What Are Meteorologists?
- Weather Out There (about weather on other planets)
- Tornadoes
- Rainbows
- Hurricanes
- Blizzards
- Clouds (Different Types of Clouds)
- Hail
- Rain
- Lightning
You can snatch up this weather resource over at my shop. Click on any of the images above to be taken there.
This just went on the wish list! Love all your nonfiction stuff!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like an awesome unit ! I want it, even though I'm not teaching first right now! I love the variety of texts, the projectable text, and the variety of student work that can be done with it.
