With spring right around the corner, I’m starting to get my Earth Day plans together. I updated my Earth Day packet to include *a lot* more activities that I plan on doing with my students throughout April! If you already purchased this packet, go back and re-download it to find all of the new changes!

My new FAVORITE part of the packet is this story about a litter monster.
Here’s a little part of the story:
That’s just the introduction page. In the story, you meet a little girl who teaches the Litter Monster all about the 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Your students will be SO into the story they’ll forget they are learning. How cute is that litter monster custom clip art image by Melonheadz? After you all read the story and learn all about the 3 R’s, your students can make their own litter monster out of recycled materials.
In addition to the story, these vocabulary cards/anchor charts will help your students have a better understanding of the 3 R’s and other important words.
You’ll also find LOTS of Earth Day activities to complete with your class. You can see some of the activities below.
As a fun culminating activity, we’ll be completing these adorable “Whole World In Your Hands” crafts. My kids made these last year and LOVED them. We displayed them in the hallway and everyone commented on how cute they were.

Very cute earth packet. I have an off topic question. A while back you did a darling Bad Case of Stripes activity. I don't have an account that lets me download your freebie that was the writing piece. Would you consider either re-posting or sending it to me?
