Comprehension Strategy Posters (free!)

Hi All,
I think I’m becoming more and more like the The 3am Teacher each night. I wasn’t so bad at first, but now 1:00am is early. Oh, how I love sweet summertime. Who else has slipped into this late night summer routine?
 
While I was up way past my bedtime last night, I made these fun comprehension strategy posters. I’ve been wanting to make one for each strategy for a long time. I already have a few hand-drawn strategy posters, but I figure these will be great to laminate and keep in a permanent spot.
 
Plus, I bought these cute little characters awhile back from JW Illustrations, and I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with them. I think these posters are perfect for them.

    I, too, have slipped into "vampire-mode", as my family has so lovingly referred to my summer sleeping pattern. Now that it's July, I'm (ever so slowly) trying to get back to "normal" so my system doesn't go into shock come August:) These posters are fabulous...your time was put to valuable use!:)

    My sleep schedule is so messed up! Sadly, I've memorized the late night tv schedules! But I see were both getting a lot done!

    You are not alone in the staying up too late. Last night was the first night in a month, that I was in bed before 12:30. I don't even want to think about trying to get back into a routine.

    I super-de-duper heart these, and can *totally* relate to the up-too-late syndrome. I went to sleep last night at 3am.

    I'm a night owl anyway, though -- even during student-teaching internship I was regularly running on three hours of sleep!

    Thank you so much for sharing your hard (and talented) work! They are adorable. :) I plan to email these to our UPS Store as they will make them 11 X 14 for me for a very small price. They will be perfect in my first grade classroom. And yes I stay up way to late and sometimes get to sleep in. I have taught for 28 years and have never had an internal clock!

    Thank you so much for posting these. I just printed them and noticed that synthesizing is spelled wrong. It is an /e/ not an /a/. You might want to fix it if it will be posted in your classroom.

    Thank you so much for the free comprehension posters. I teach Grade 2 and they will love them. It's so nice to find colourful but easy to read posters for the children to refer to. I am working in Australia, I was wondering by any chance could you make some of your posters with Australia spelling, just the ones visualising, synthesising, summarising as we spell with an 's' instead of a 'z'? Thanks again :)
