The above poster was inspired by one of my firsties. I decided to make this after receiving an e-mail from her dad. Apparently, one day last week she went home and told him, “I don’t have to wash my hands now that I’m grown.” Oh, yes you do! HA!

math family fun *free resources!*

Hi, Friends!

Are you in need of some engaging math activities to send home with your students to help them build math fluency?

To help support my students’ needs this year, I’ve put together some fun and easy-to-use activities for my first graders to do at home with their families. I’m callin’ it Math Family Fun!

In each Math Family Fun bag, I’ve included:

-a letter to families

-addition flash cards (1-10)

-a math fluency mini booklet

-a math board game

These activities are all aligned with the Common Core and ALL of the materials are FREE for you to use with your students.

Spooky Days, Halloween Craze!

I love Halloween! I mean, really, who doesn’t love candy, spooky monsters, and colorful costumes? To get everyone in the spooky mood, I’ve created a fun and engaging Halloween pack for grades K-2 called Spooky Days…Halloween Craze!

In this packet, you’ll find *lots* of fun and educational October activities that will keep your kiddos begging for more! Woo hoo!

One of my favorite parts of the packet are the spooky crafts and writing activities. Your students will have a blast writing “Wing Flappin’ Facts” and “Facts That’ll Make You Crawl” after assembling their bats and spiders. They’ll also love completing a scarecrow glyph and a “How To Spook a Monster!” writing activity and craft.
