Monogram and Chevron = Teacher Heaven

Note: A lot of you are having issues downloading the free PowerPoint. I apologize! I added the covers to my TPT shop. Please try downloading them there. I’ve added many editable PowerPoint documents before, but never through Google Docs. Try at my TPT shop, and let me know if it works. I don’t have any other solutions. Sorry!

Okay, I don’t know if you all saw the calendar today, but I certainly did. August 1st. It’s like my body knew that yesterday was summer vacation and today was…NOT! I woke up feeling anxious, realizing I have a bazillion things to do before the beginning of the school year. I know you all are right there with me.

So, what does an anxious teacher/procrastinator/monogram/chevron lover do in times like these? Make more binder covers, of course. Why? Oh, you know, because a pretty binder will solve all the world’s problems this upcoming school year. Ha. I wish.

But, they are so pretty. I have no idea what I’m going to do with these. Seriously, who needs 7 different shades of monogrammed binder covers? Anyone? Maybe I just like seeing my initials in fancy letters.

Well, if you are a procrastinator like me, or if you want/need these, please feel free to grab them below. All you’ll need to do is download the font below, open the PowerPoint, and get busy!

image

Here is a quick step-by-step tutorial:

- Download Monogram KK font (free for personal use)

-Open up my editable PowerPoint file

-Create a text box over top of the circle, and write the first and middle initial of your name using the Monogram KK font. Leave a space in between the two letters. You will want these two letters to be the font size 115. (See below)

image

-Create another text box over top of the the two letters above. Center the text box, and then write your last initial. You want this font size to be larger (I recommend 239 font size).

Now it will look like this…your new look is complete!

Hi everyone, I've emailed each one of you, but I wanted to write it here as well...

You MUST download the file. To do this: Click on the link above, and when it opens click “File” and then “Download As PowerPoint.” Otherwise, it will remain in Google Docs, and you will not be able to edit the file.

Thanks so much! Love that you did different colors for boys/girl--personalizing them right now to go in the front of their binders. Only thing left to do is make matching little slips to go down the sides of the binder. {LOVE}

You can pass some time, relieve some stress, and spend time with family and friends playing computer games. Today's versatile online games can help achieve everything from fitness to improved intellect. Figure out how you can have the best time gaming by using the article that follows.

Don't use harsh solutions to clean gaming systems. Instead, blown on it very lightly so you can eliminate dust. Using harsh solutions can ruin your system.

Try to limit gaming to no more than a few hours per day maximum. There is no doubt that gaming is addictive, and this has become a real problem for many people. Try to stick to playing online games for only a few hours each day. If you're someone who plays long hours, then it's best to take plenty of breaks during the day.

Always start by playing in beginner's mode. If you find the beginner mode too easy, simply restart the game at a more difficult level. Once you have played on a beginner level for awhile, you will find it much easier to eventually play on a harder level.

It is important to take breaks and avoid excessive gaming playing. It's fairly easy to get addicted to a particular game, and this isn't healthy so you must get away from it every once in a while. Gaming is meant to be an enjoyable experience. Should you feel that addiction is an issue, speak to a medical professional about help.

Think about stopping by video gaming arcades in other locations. Many people now enjoy playing computer games at their homes by themselves. If you go out of town to an arcade, you can enjoy your games along with some human interaction.

You should try renting a game before buying it for your children. Stores often don't accept returned games if they've been played. Renting it first lets you and your kids try it out before you buy.

Supervise your child if he or she plays online online games. While most of these games are rated by the ESRB, some also warn that in-game situations can change, falling into unrated territory. Many games offer chat features and customization options for characters and equippable items. When you take the time to monitor the online game play, you can ensure that your child is interacting in an environment that you are comfortable with.

Always familiarize yourself on the novice levels before going on to the more demanding levels. These games are pretty difficult, and trying on rookie can help you build skills. After you have mastered the control, buttons and functions of the game, then move on and challenge yourself.

Reserve games that are high in demand to ensure that you will get a copy. You may get special bonuses when ordering early. The bonuses could be some special features, outfits, or anything that could help you when it comes to playing. The only way you can get them is by ordering early.

Figure out how to operate the safety and parental controls of any gaming system that comes into your home. You can likely make adjustments that keep kids from viewing mature content. Some allow each gaming profile to be customized separately, allowing adults to enjoy games not meant for younger audiences.

There are so many entertaining elements to online gaming, they cannot be covered in a single article. You should have found what you needed to understand right here. After a long hard day at the office or school, put your feet up, turn on the gaming system and enjoy!
